Instant interview

Hello Friends, Today I have the pleasure to talk  to Instant a Death Metal Band from Finland, very dark stuff.

-          Hi guys, let’s talk a little about the beginnings of the band. How was Instant created?

Instant was born right before we left this shitty punk band, we didn't play death metal at the start becase we had different music tastes, but after 2 guitarists we finally played death metal.

-                  How was the design and creation process of the album?
The making of the songs took a really long time, we made lots of songs which most of we threw in the trash. The creation of the album was pretty hard, we had some conflicts with the band and a whole lot of other stuff. The creation took a long time, even though we recorded the album in 1 day.

-          Decimation is your debut album. I like very much the dark atmosphere and the original sound, the bass guitar have a very great stuff. What do you think?

I think we're all pretty satisfied with the album.

-              In your opinion, which are the stronger points of the band?
            Our playing ofcourse.

-          -What are your musical influences?

Old school finnish and swedish death metal!

-             My Favourite Song is Cadaver of the Martyr, what is yours?

I think we all like world's last breath the most. It's the most ''epic'' song on the album and we had atleast my favorite singer feature on the song, Jere Kilpinen of Cut To Fit.

-            What themes do you touch in your lyrics?

Ilmari usually gets in with religion, insanity, murders, mythology and generally just things that are wrong in this world.

-             How do you see the current scene of the Heavy metal in your country?

The scene is somehow rising from the grave, there are a whole lot of new bands starting out in Finland at this moment.

-          How can the fan get your album?

Send us a message! Either through our facebook or . We just released a cd version of Decimation, with the cost of 5€. Tape versions are coming out later this year, so look for that in the future.

-              What are your future plans?

I think our future plans are just to keep making music and playing gigs.

-          Thank you very much and congratulations for your great work. If you wish to add something, go ahead…
